Our goal at Solar Haven is to keep our land as natural as possible and a haven for wildlife and to provide a model for others in the community who are interested in renewable energy, natural building methods, and living simply without the usual utility costs and a big mortgage. The ideals of Henry David Thoreau have been very much in our minds -- Solar Haven is our Walden Pond. |
